Save the Date!

So I know now that the holidays are over, most of you want nothing more than to start moving on with your lives and embrace this new year. Well, for those of you who love the holidays and yet really want to plan in advance, let me tell you about a concert I went to that I really recommend.

About a week or so before the commencement of this just-too-short break, Sofia and I went to hear Rose sing at St Patrick's Cathedral. They sang all these Christmas songs that really put you in a festive mood. I guarantee that you'll hear something you like. Sure, some of the songs were religious, but they also song some very secular songs such as "The Twelve Days of Christmas". The concert ended with "Silent Night". Candles had been handed out and the lights dimmed. It was spooky and daunting but awesome at the same time. This concert takes place every year at St Patrick's around the same time, so I really recommend that you go. Maybe Rose will sing again? Maybe have another solo? They sound really great and it's worth it! (by the way-- you're welcome, Rose, for the free publicity)
