Japanese Earthquake

During the first hours of New Years Day, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Japan. I read a very factual and blunt article that described the where-and-when of the situation. This article was published on the Long Island Press' website shortly after the earthquake had hit and was directed towards the American audience. It quickly laid down the facts and reassured the readers by stating that there was no Tsunami warning for the West Coast and that shaking in any American state would be unlikely. This article was much like the BBC article we read in TLC that explained the death of Princess Diana. Both provided very factual and to-the-point explanations that fulfilled their informative purpose.
