I finally saw War Horse, directed by Steven Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy ! The story is set during World War I in England. It tells the story of a strong relationship between a horse and a boy named Albert Narracotti (played by Jeremy Irvine). Albert quickly develops a love for the horse, which he names Joey and spends most of his time with Joey teaching him tricks. Albert's family works on a farm, and relies on their crops to pay for the rent. When their crops are ruined due to a rainstorm , Joey is sold into the war without Albert's consent, and the audience follows the war through the eyes of both Joey and Albert, who later joins the war as a British soldier. I will let you learn the rest and fall in love with the movie like I did. The war scenes are not bad if that was a worry for you, and the picture and sound are amazing. The movie is family friendly (PG-13 for the intense war scenes) and a very touching movie that is worth seeing.
After watching the film, I saw this article online on moviefone and I thought it was a very funny since I did not think of Joey in that sense and the author was being humourous. The article speaks of Joey maybe being a demon horse.
